With this announcement, SCWDB’s President/CEO, Robert Boone stated, "The South Central Workforce Development Board is thrilled to have the Logan County Public Library as a partner affiliate site. Our board's goal is to increase access to job placement and employment services in our entire 10 county region. Thanks to the library, our newest partner affiliate site in Logan County will help connect job seekers and employers, leading to greater regional economic vitality and financial stability for the individuals we serve."

King Simpson, director of Logan County Public Library, added, "The Logan County Public Library has a long history of service to the residents of Logan County. While we often assist our users with job searches and job preparation, we have never been able to share such excellent, localized resources and information with those we serve. We are excited for our staff to have additional training and tools at our disposal to help Logan Countians find the jobs they want without having to leave their own community."
