Congratulations to the Lady Cougar Volleyball team on winning the Gold Division Championship at Hopkinsville Invitational Tournament.

Our eighth grade football team made history yesterday by defeating South Warren by a score of 20-12. A great win and puts the Cougars in the Regional Championship next Saturday at Edmonson County.

A big congrats to Eliza Hagens and the girls middle school cross country team on winning first place at the McCracken County Invitational. The boys varsity team also placed first out of the 12 teams participating and the varsity girls placed fifth out of eight teams.

Last week, varsity runner Meredith Johnson broke the school record in the 5K at Yellow Creek Park while participating in the Fast Cats Classic in Owensboro. (20:55.92) The old record belonged to Kelsey Hinton.

I would like to announce Jeff Noffsinger will be our new tennis coach at LCHS, and Harvey Harris will be assistant coach. We wish Coach Noffsinger the best of luck in the upcoming season.
