The Lady Cougars began play against Hopkinsville High School, winning in two sets, 25-10, 25-14. Then the Cougars played Ballard Memorial, a team they previously played in the Quad State Tournament in Paducah. The Cougars bested them 25-12, 25-7. To finish pool play, Logan County played Valley High School and won 25-7, 25-6.
