Crittenden Drive Outdoors Ministry to host Wild Game Supper

The annual Wild Game Supper will be hosted by the Crittenden Drive Outdoors Ministry in the Fellowship Room of Crittenden Drive Church of Christ on Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at 5 p.m.

The menu will consist of white-tailed deer, elk, mule deer, antelope, fish, dove and other wild game.

The featured speaker will be Tim Farmer, long-time host of “Kentucky Afield” on Kentucky Educational Television. He is also the host of “The Farmer’s Country Kitchen,” the popular cooking, gardening and farming show.

Farmer is known for his being able to use weapons effectively while having only one arm. He lost his other arm in a motorcycle accident while a young Marine.

“Many prizes other than guns (covert trail camera, calls, hunting gear) will be given out but you must be present to win!” says Molly Clark, one of the planners. “What a great time it will be. Bring the family!

Tickets are available for purchase in advance for $10. They will be $15 at the door. Children ages 3-5 will be admitted for $5 and children under 3 eat free. Tickets will be available at Russellville Christian School or at the church office.
