Logan finishes a strong third in Cougar Run

While playing host to a big event on their home cross country track, the Logan County Cougars finished third in boys varsity 5K race Oct. 3.

Four Cougars finished close to each other in the top third of the runners. Junior Thomas Lyne, the team’s most experienced runner, led by way by finishing ninth with a time of 17:49.6. Sophomore Gage Cousineau placed 14th, just 13 seconds behind Lyne. Freshman Tanner Morrow finished 21st, 26 seconds back of Cousineau, and junior Dean Heltsley was another 14 seconds back.
