Crook and Moses playing pro basketball

The Bowling Green Hornets have announced that two of their players have been signed to international basketball contracts. The Hornets, who were conference runner-up, played their first season at Russellville High School this spring.

Former Western Kentucky Hilltopper Jamal Crook has signed with the Ottawa SkyHawks in Canada; and former Georgetown College Tiger Victor Moses has signed with the Cheshire Phoenix in England.

Last season with the Hornets, Crook averaged 18.8 PPG, 5.0 APG, 4.8 RPG, & 1.8 SPG, and Moses averaged 22.0 PPG, 9.0 RPG, & 2.0 BPG.

General Manager Waseem Moorad says, “Please join us in congratulating both individuals on this excellent achievement, and we wish them best of luck in their first season with their respective international franchises.”
