As demonstrated in Friday’s down-to-the-wire Logan County win over the Russellville Panthers, these teams are balanced in most aspects of the game. That’s true even though the Cougars are 4-0 in the district and the Panthers 1-3, overall Coach Trey Tinsley’s Panthers were 13-8 and Coach Josh Cougars 12-9.
The LoJo did a little statistical research to see who the leaders are in a variety of statistical categories. In five of the eight groups, there were five Panthers and five Cougars. The other three went 6-4, two of them with an extra Panther.
In comparing team averages, however, the Cougars were slightly ahead in six of the eight.
