RHS Marching Panthers
Congratulations to our Russellville High School Marching Panther Band, who placed 5th in the regional band competition held in Hopkinsville Saturday. This earns our band a trip the state semi-finals next Saturday at Butler High School in Louisville. The band will perform at 11:30. Sixteen bands from across the state will compete for one of four final slots at Papa John’s Stadium later that evening!

We wish our band members the best of luck and offer our gratitude for all the hard work and effort that they have put into advancing the program to the state level, once again!

RHS Academic Team
The Panther Academic team traveled to Owensboro this past week for competition in the Pennyrile League Association. Below, you will find the results of the individual performances:

Overall, the quick recall team split for both teams, with one loss and one victory for each.

Congratulations to Coach Jennifer Rogers and our students on another strong showing!

RHS Football
Congratulations to the 2016 Class 1A District 1 Champions! With the victory on Friday night, Coach John Myers and his team are now 9-0! This is the first time, according to my sources, that the Panthers have been 9-0 since 1984!! Good luck to our team as they host Franklin-Simpson on Friday night for our last regular home game of the season. We will honor our seniors this night, as well!
