The Bowling Green Hot Rods conducted an anti-bullying day in September at the Bowling Green Ballpark. As part of this day, schools around the area were invited to attend a full nine-inning baseball game as well as learn about the effect bullying has on individuals in their lives.

Chandlers Elementary third and fifth grade students participated in this informative day. Students were given the opportunity to watch a minor league baseball game as well as watch a “Kids on the Block” performance on how bullying affects lives.

At the end of the day, students reflected on ways to prevent bullying in their own classrooms.
