Chamber celebrates great year by honoring key contributors to Logan successes

The Logan County Chamber of Commerce celebrated a memorable evening at its Annual Membership Dinner on April 23, held at the Logan County Extension Office. With this year’s theme, “Grand Slam for Logan County Business,” the event brought together 63 member businesses and organizations, with more than 300 attendees stepping up to the plate for a night of celebration, recognition, and community connection.

2026 Chairman of the Board Brian White welcomed guests and kicked off the evening with remarks highlighting the strength and momentum of Logan County’s business community. Attendees also heard from special guest Mark Thompson, a Logan County native and former Major League Baseball player, who shared inspiring reflections.

A highlight of the evening was the swearing-in of the 2026 Board of Directors and Chamber Ambassadors, led by Phil Baker, symbolizing continued leadership and commitment to the community.

The Chamber proudly recognized outstanding individuals and organizations whose contributions continue to make a lasting impact across Logan County:

Ambassador of the Year: Stacey Cundiff

Farm Family of the Year: Robey Farms

Educators of the Year: Catherine Taylor and Laura Milam (Olmstead Elementary School)

Small Business of the Year: Clark Family Dentistry

Volunteer of the Year: Greg Meacham

Young Professional of the Year: Lucas Celsor

Corporate Recognition: EPB of Russellville

Logan United Award: Crittenden Drive Church of Christ

Milestone Award: H & H Sheet Metal Fabricators Inc

Logan Lifetime Achievement Award: Jim Riley

The evening concluded with a lively Dessert Dash fundraiser and a live auction led by Ed Cope of Cope & Associates Realty and Auction, adding energy and excitement while supporting Chamber programming and initiatives.

The Chamber extends special appreciation to the many partners who helped bring the event to life. Dinner was catered by Bilyeu’s grill on wheels, with event photography captured by Morgan Atkinson Photography. Balloon décor was provided by Balloon Boutique-, and entertainment was provided by DJ Celsor Entertainment DJ Service.

Additional thanks go to Joshua Toomey and the Logan County Detention Center, the Logan County High School FBLA and Student Ambassadors, the Russellville High School Digital Media Class and Student Choir, Mitchell Scott with We Dream Media, Kyle DeBerry with Horizon Drone Solutions, and the Logan County Sons of the American Revolution for their support in making the evening a success.
