Your elementary school might look a little different this fall! This summer, Logan County Schools has had new safety vestibules under construction at the front of Adairville, Auburn, Chandler’s and Lewisburg Schools.

The purpose of the safety vestibules is to have an area for visitors to check in with front office staff before entering the building.

Safety vestibule construction for Logan County High School will begin next summer. Olmstead School’s safety vestibule was constructed a few years ago with the addition of Olmstead’s preschool wing. “Student and staff safety are our number one priority,” said Superintendent Paul M. Mullins. “We are excited to have these vestibules as another step in our school safety protocol.”

While construction is still underway at our schools, LCS is excited for the new development this school year.
