Reagan Christian named Festival Queen

Last Thursday, the 2021 Tobacco & Heritage Festival officially kicked off with the Queens Pageant. 17 beautiful young women all competed for the title of Festival Queen. Ben Brown emceed the event, which was held at DeGraffenried Auditorium and live streamed via Facebook.

Top eight included Anna Silvey, Elizabeth Phelps, Graciann Beard, Lily Bibb, Rhyan Curry, Reagan Christian, Eva Bouldin, and Lillian Harris.

Anna Silvey, a senior at Logan County High School, won Miss Congeniality and 3rd Runner Up. 

Elizabeth Phelps, a junior at Logan County High School won 2nd Runner Up.

Rhyan Curry, a sophomore at Logan County High School, won 1st Runner Up.

Reagan Christian, a junior at Logan County High School, was crowned 2021 Tobacco & Heritage Festival Queen.

The Queen’s Court was awarded flowers and sashes, the Queen was awarded a tiara and a $1,000 scholarship as well.

Sponsors for the evening were Logan County Fiscal Court, H&H Sheetmetal, Pennyrile Electric, and the Logan County Chamber of Commerce. Awards and décor was provided by Trophies to Go, Oak N’ Ivy Florist, Hickory Hill Florist, and Ruth Ellen’s Flowers. Photography by Sarah Heron Photography.

The Queens Court will ride in the Festival Parade on Oct. 9.
