Logan County’s longest-running and longest-lasting craft show is upon us. It’s one of our most popular annual holiday traditions.
The 18th Annual Christmas in November Craft Show will be conducted by the Logan County Arts and Crafts Club. As always, it will be held the weekend before Thanksgiving at the Russellville Recreation Center, known by long-time residents as “the Old Armory.”
Hours are Saturday, Nov, 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24, from 1-5 p.m.
Longest running? 18 consecutive years. Longest lasting? Open10 hours
Admission is free. Door prizes will be awarded throughout both days.
Two of the vendors were among the founding members of the Logan County Arts and Crafts Club and have set up each of the 18 years.
Director Elaine Dixon has worked tirelessly to lead the event every year. She has beautifully painted items. Elaine Turner and her family offer painted gourds, ornaments made from okra, handmade potpourri, and handmade soaps, lotions and ointments.
