        activities for all Russellville Independent School District employees will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Registration starts at 7:45 a.m. and a
        continental breakfast will be served, after which there will be district-wide training for staff members. Teachers will be released to their classrooms
        when the training concludes.

        Stevenson Elementary School hours are 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Russellville Junior/Senior High School hours are 8:15 a.m.to 3:15 p.m.
        Monday-Friday. (There will no longer be early release Fridays.) The doors to Stevenson Elementary School open at 7 a.m., so parents should not
        drop off their child prior to 7 a.m. Russellville High School will open its doors at 7:45 a.m.

        Registration fees remain the same this year. Each school will collect fees of $17.50 for each student enrolled. In addition, RHS charges a textbook
        rental fee of $48 for each student.

        Meal prices for the 2011-2012 school year are as follows: Early Education-12th grade lunch - $1.85 (this is a 10-cent increase from last year’s price);
        adult lunch - $2.85; breakfast for students - $1.15; adult breakfast - $1.75; reduced lunch - $.40; reduced breakfast - $.30; extra milk - $.35.
        Breakfast will not be served the first day of school.

        Parents may pre-pay their child’s breakfast and/or lunch in the school cafeteria. This eliminates the need for a child to bring meal money to school on
        a daily basis. If parents wish to pre-pay, a check or money order may be made to the school cafeteria, or a cash payment may be made. At the parent’s
        request, a statement will be made of their child’s account balance, and the parent will be notified when a child has expended all advance funds.

        Students new to Russellville Independent Schools may register at Central Office, 355 South Summer Street, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. any
        week day except for Thursday mornings. Please see Claudia Crump, director of pupil personnel, to register. Beginning on July 28, students may register
        at the open houses, or at the individual schools after July 28. New students should bring a copy of their birth certificate, a Social Security card,
        their current immunization record and a Kentucky physical exam report.

        All incoming kindergarten students must have a physical exam, eye exam, dental screening and updated immunizations, in addition to their birth
