On April 30, during the Logan County FFA Banquet the Young Farmer Association selected two graduating seniors pursuing a career in Agriculture to receive their scholarship. Lance Lockhart of Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College presented these scholarships to D.J. Price and Andrew Milam.

D.J. plans to pursue a career in Agronomy as a Soil Scientist. Andrew plans to pursue a career in Animal Science. They are both attending Western Kentucky University in the fall. D.J. and Andrew have both competed in many competitions as FFA members and have served as officers competing in Envirothon, Jr. and Sr. Parliamentary Procedure, speeches and judging contests.

The Young Farmer Association has a lot to offer to the Logan County Community. The Young Farmer Association is composed of local farmers and members of the agriculture industry. Their goal is to support FFA and local farmers. If you are interested in joining the Young Farmers Association or would like further information about the organization, you can contact Lance Lockhart at lance.lockhart@kctcs.edu.

Dues are $10 payable to Mr. Lockhart and lifetime memberships are available by request.

The Young Farmer Association has supported the Logan County FFA chapter for many years and we are thankful to have them in our corner!
