Logan County Search & Rescue, represented by Captain Joe McGuire, donated an Infrared Digital Thermometer to Brandy Webster, the Russellville High School Cafeteria Manager, and her staff at Russellville Independent School District on Monday, May 11.

Captain McGuire stated that the Logan County SAR got word that some awesome people were in need of something to help them safely serve the children of Russellville.

Kathy Thweatt, with the Barren River District Health Department, also presented masks that were made and donated by Angela Robertson. Thweatt said, “The Health Department is happy to facilitate these donations for the RISD in order to keep staff and students safe.”

These donations will help make the staff’s work much safer, and the Russellville District School District is very grateful for these acts of kindness.
