In 2019 the Logan County Beautification Committee was revived by a group of Logan County Chamber of Commerce volunteers and we have just presented our first award in the residential category.

The mission of the Logan County Beautification Committee is to enhance the visual beauty of Logan County, preserve its historical values, and to promote our community for the common good of our residents and businesses.

On Monday, March 2, the Beautification Committee awarded Andrew Knight and Bryon Bradshaw, the first residential award for the year, on all the hard work they have done on their home at 510 South Winter Street in Russellville. The home has gone through a major transformation from interior to exterior.

Committee President Keith Batchelor was honored to award a certificate to the winners in recognition of all their hard work. Kay Phillips of Kentucky Petals was pleased to hand the winners a $25 dollar gift certificate prize to use at Kentucky Petals in a few months when her lilies are in full bloom. The Logan County Chamber would like to congratulate Andrew & Byron on the hard work they’ve put in. One beautiful home and business at a time, Logan County is becoming even more beautiful.

The committee is looking to award any qualifying residential, commercial, or entrance at least once a month. If you would like to nominate a property, please visit loganchamber.com or come to the Chamber to get your nomination form. Give us a call at 270-726-2206 for further assistance.
