Friday morning, March 2, Stevenson Elementary celebrated the Birthday of Dr. Seuss, and the morning began just as it should with "green eggs & ham" served by the ladies in the cafeteria.

Then, it was on to hear community members, RIS staff, and friends read so many wonderful books!  We concluded the morning with a glorious Parade with the Cat in the Hat...not only around the SES hallways, but around the block since it was a beautiful day! It was such fun!

SES is grateful for all those who planned the day and for those who participated in Reading! Scheduled visiting Readers were: Lindsey Amos, Adam Taylor, Toni Hall, Scott Celsor, Kenneth Edmunds, Robin Cornelius, Morris Kisselbaugh, Tanya Taylor, Debbie Taylor, Linda Shelton, Carol Kees, Dr. Steven Moats, Dr. Regina Guthrie, Landon Stratton, Kim Reeves, John Kees, Kim McDaniel, Mary Lynn Moore, and Jeff Jennings.

Thank you to everyone joining us at SES to celebrate another Dr. Seuss' Birthday!
