On July 10-14, the Logan County FFA chapter attended the Kentucky Leadership Training Center in Hardinsburg. During this week, our chapter remained extremely busy with officer classes in the morning along with leadership and agriculture based classes, ranging from welding and conservation, to communication and agriculture advocacy classes, in the afternoon.

We also participated in many sports that camp has to offer such as volleyball and basketball to horse shoes and cornhole. Our time was also filled with chapter hours where we bonded and created goal posters for the upcoming year.

On Wednesday, our Senior officer team participated in the low ropes course for team building, while the other officers attended a workshop that was led by the state officers.

Our FFA President, Jessalyn Robey, was elected to camp council as Treasurer for the week.

On Tuesday, Ashlyn Tracey won second place in the quiz contest. She will advance to the State Fair competition in August. That day our chapter competed in waterball.

On Wednesday, the senior officers held opening ceremonies during session. Cody Watkins competed in the talent show, and our chapter won volleyball for the week.

Thursday night featured All Star games for volleyball, basketball and softball. We had several officers competing in these events.

During the last day, at the final session, Zach Milam was awarded second place in tractor driving and Vice President Meleea Reno along with Committee Chairman Micah Page also earned leadership awards with President Jessalyn earning the Outstanding Leadership Award.

The members and officers that attended were:

Jessalyn Robey, Meleea Reno, Zach Milam, Rachel Taylor, Hannah Price, Caroline Baker, Kennedy Campbell, Kaitlyn Norris, Jacob Haley, Olivia Bouldin, Briley Robinson, Micah Page, Ashlyn Tracey, Bailey Cornelius, Caroline Davenport, Hayley Holman, Abby Canler, Jailyn Campbell, Jordan Baer, Mason Haley, Noah Rust, Ethan Hudson, Cody Watkins, John Hendricks, Ethan Robey, Kolton Coomer, Briar Webb, Connor Barnes, and Brad Allred.
