Michael and Linda Maxwell will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 25, 2017. They were married June 30, 1967, at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ in Russellville.

Michael is retired after co-owning Maxwell Tool and Machine Shop and Chapel Motocross followed by working as an engineer and manager for 21 years. Linda is retired after working in the tax business for 29 years, starting at Williams Walker and Horton and ending at Scarbrough and Barton.

They have two children, John Maxwell and wife Leda of Atlanta, Ga. and Amy Taylor and husband Trace of Auburn. They have four grandchildren, Tyler Maxwell, Tanner Maxwell and wife Candice, Peyton Taylor and Colton Taylor.

A reception honoring Michael and Linda Maxwell at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ where he is an elder on Sunday, June 25, from 2-4 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend. No gifts please.
