Logan FFA recognizes 2017 Greenhands

The Logan County High School chapter of the National FFA Organization held its annual Greenhand ceremony April 27 at the high school. The Greenhand ceremony requires first year members to satisfactorily demonstrate an understanding of FFA history, the FFA Creed, FFA Mission statement, motto, salute, and the FFA Code of Ethics. At the ceremony’s close, participants were given their FFA Greenhand pins and refreshments were made available.

FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. The LCHS FFA chapter is sponsored by Mr. Bryan Estes and Mr. Jay Campbell.
