Outgoing Logan FFA officers install their successors

The 2017 Logan County FFA Banquet was held on Sunday, April 30, at the Cooperative Extension Office. All members and officers attended, a meal was provided and served by Alumni of our chapter. During the banquet various members received 160 awards for the contests they competed in this year. Outstanding awards for the members and officers along with several scholarships were also handed out.

The following officers were installed as the 2017-2018 senior officer team for Logan County FFA by the retiring Senior officers:

2017-2018 Officers:

Jessalyn Robey- President

Meleea Reno- Vice President

Zach Milam- Secretary

Rachel Taylor- Treasurer

Hannah Price- Reporter

Caroline Baker- Sentinel

Evan Hughes- Chaplain

Kennedy Campbell- Parliamentarian

Kaitlyn Norris- 2nd Vice President

Jacob Haley- 3rd Vice President

 

Retiring Officers:

Andrew Milam- President

Zach Brinkley- Vice President

Paige Brown- Secretary

DJ Price- Treasurer

Ann-Meguiar Bouldin- Reporter

Claire Wilson- Sentinel

Blake Taylor- Chaplain

Jessalyn Robey- Parliamentarian

Luke Davenport- 2nd Vice President

Jessie Collins- 3rd Vice President

Retiring senior officers gave their farewell speech and the new president, Jessalyn Robey, finished the ceremony.

Regional Banquet will be held on May 5 for the Barren River Region at South Warren High school. Jessalyn Robey will be sworn in as the Barren River Region President.  Throughout the ceremony our chapter will receive awards and achievements for the past year and this will be the conclusion of the 2016-2017 FFA year.
