Logan FFA competes at region

On Thursday, March 16,, the Logan County FFA traveled to WKU/Glasgow Campus for the Annual Regional Contest. Our members competed in Impromptu and Extemporaneous Speaking, Creed Speaking, Quiz Bowl, Record Keeping, and Senior Parliamentary procedure.  The following participants competed:

Parliamentary Procedure: Senior Officer Team

Turf and Lawn Care Impromptu: Zach Brinkley

Poultry Impromptu: Matt Edgar

Public Speaking: Ann-Meguiar Bouldin

Greenhouse Impromptu: Meleea Reno

Extemporaneous Speaking: Rachel Taylor

Small animal Impromptu: Caroline Baker

Crop Impromptu: Paige Brown

Floral Impromptu: Kennedy Campbell

Horse Impromptu: Bailey Cornelius

Sheep/Goat Impromptu: Evan Hughes

Beef Impromptu: Andrew Milam

Swine Impromptu: Zach Milam

Ag Mechanics: DJ Price

Fruit and Vegetable Impromptu: Hannah Price

Dairy Impromptu: Jessalyn Robey

Nursery and Landscape: Blake Taylor

FFA Quiz contest: Ashlyn Tracey

FFA Creed Speaking: Caroline Davenport

Our Parliamentary Procedure team consisted of Andrew Milam, Zach Brinkley, Paige Brown, DJ Price, Ann-Meguiar Bouldin, Claire Wilson, Blake Taylor, Jessalyn Robey, Luke Davenport and Meleea Reno.

The Record keeping team consisted of: Onahka Fuller, Gracie Wharton, Addie White, Gracie Wharton and Hayley Hollman.

We will know the results of the record keeping contest in a few weeks.

These officers have worked diligently for the past few months getting ready for these contests and the results paid off.  We are very proud of all of them and look forward to going to State Convention to compete for the Barren River Region.
