Panther Choice Awards presented to 43 RJSHS students

The first RJSHS Panther Choice Awards program was held on Monday evening, May 2, in the beautifully decorated “Red-Carpeted” gym. Each staff and faculty member chose his or her student to be the recipient of  the Panther Choice Award for this school year, presented the award to the student being honored, and briefly explained why the student was worthy of the award. 

Invitations with an RSVP for the students and their families were mailed for this red-carpet event.

Principal Kim McDaniel had this to say about the evening: “Thanks again to all of you for your participation! I am forever grateful to all of you. It was some of the most genuine and loving reactions I have seen from educators. I hope you understand how much these 43 students and their families were impacted by your kind, thoughtful words! 

“I know I also tell you thanks for all you do, but I truly hope you understand how much I mean that!  This event was great, and I have already made myself notes for making it bigger and better next year!”
