The Lewisburg Junior Beta club traveled to Louisville on Feb. 17 to the Kentucky Jr. Beta Convention. Students competed in several individual competitions such as academic exams, scrapbook, spotlight your club, and arts & crafts.

All club members competed in Songfest, which is an event where students re-write the words to a well-known song and perform it before a panel of judges. The club beat out 25 other schools and came away with the first place trophy!

Pictured separately is the group of students who chose the song and wrote the words that were performed. They are, from left, Addie White, Makayla Strode, Hayley Schweers, Gracie Christian, and Sydney Lee.
