A different kind of March Madness will be underway Saturday in Logan County. Instead of basketball buckets it will involve business booths.

A total of 31 booths will showcase a wide variety of spring offerings, everything from homemade and homegrown goodies to nationally franchised dealerships.

It will be held March 21 at the Logan County Extension Office on Russellville’s North Bypass. The sale will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. There’s no admission, but those attending are asked to bring donations to help the Logan County Humane Society, such as puppy and dog food, leather dog collars or money.

March Madness features many of the same craftspeople and agents who were set up at the well-received Mistletoe Market on Nov. 1. This time merchants will be offering Easter and Mother’s Day items instead of Thanksgiving and Christmas specialties. Light and bright, pink and lilac, flowers and flip flops should be prevalent instead of cedars and pumpkins, dark red and green, wreaths and ornaments.

This bounty of goodies has been organized again by Russellvillian Marcia Miller Key, who is also one of the vendors.

The vendors are expected to be as follows:
