These are the results of games played recently in Logan County Babe Ruth baseball:
Game 1
Yates Pharmacy/Logan Tele 12
Isaac Powell had two triples while Jaden Hayes and Blake Wood also had two hits. Tristan Blake doubled and Zach Dye added a hit. Powell, Wood and Blake each had two RBIs with Michael Newman, Dye and Hayes each adding one. Hayes, Powell, Wood and Blake each scored two runs with Yates, Newman and Adrian Brown crossing the plate one each.
Powell pitched three innings and gave up only one run and one hit. He struck out five. Parker White pitched an inning giving up a run on two hits with two strikeouts.
Baer Construction/Pratt’s Auto/Price Funeral Home 2
Chandler Silvey tripled, singled and scored two runs. Price Brown doubled and had an RBI. Jaggers Hales added an RBI.
Dillon Porter pitched two innings and gave up nine runs on five hits and six walks. Hales pitched three innings, giving up three runs on four each of walks and hits while recording three strikeouts.
Game 2
Baer Construction/Pratt’s Auto/Price Funeral Home 5
Silvey hit a two-run homer and Brown drove in a pair of runs with two singles. Matt Jackson added the fifth RBI. Silvey scored two runs with Logan Smith, Carer Hale and Hales scoring one each.
Brown pitched six innings, giving up three runs on eight strikeouts, seven walks and two hits.
H & H Sheetmetal/ Baer Construction 3
Jon Allen Cherry singled in a run, and Bradley Taylor added a single. Preston Hurt, McKinley Griggs and Taylor scored the runs.
Braxton Meguiar pitched two innings, giving up three runs on a hit and three walks while striking out two. John Carter Myers pitched two innings, giving up two runs and three walks. Hurt pitched an inning, allowing only one hit and no walk or runs. He recorded a strikeout.
Game 3

Powell doubled and singled while Jackson Hampton and Myers each singled. Powell drive in two runs with Anthony Woodard and Myers getting an RBI each
Seven different players scored a run. They were Dye, Adrian Brown, Briar Webb, Newman, Powell, Blake and Hampton.
Powell pitched four innings, giving up five runs on three hits and six walks. He struck out five. Blake pitched three innings, giving up a run on three hits and no walks.
Butler County statistics weren’t available.
Game 4

Anthony Woodard singled and tripled, Derek Dorris smacked two doubles and Nate Woodall singled for the winners. Dorris had four RBIs and Dalton Dean 1. Woodard scored three runs, Woodall two and Dorris one.
Trevor Scott pitched four innings, giving up a pair of runs on five hits, four strikeouts, and three walks. Dorris pitched two innings, allowing three runs on two hits, a strikeout and no walks.
No statistics were made available for Butler, which lost its second straight one-run game.
