All 4 Babe Ruth teams get wins

All four Logan County Babe Ruth teams picked up wins in action last week, including Logan County Animal Clinic/Subway pulling off an 8-1 win over a Price Funeral Home/H&H Sheet Metal team which had grown accustomed to winning. Details follow:

Matt Guinn had a big game, doubling among his two hits, drive in a pair of runs, scoring two, and pitching the win, giving up seven runs on three hits, eight strikeouts and three walks in five innings. Jonathan Partlow pitched the other inning, giving up a run on no hits and a walk with one strikeout. He also singled, had two RBIs and scored.

Ryan Hudson and Josh Stratton each doubled and had a pair of RBIs and runs. Also getting a hit for the winners was Hunter Anderson. Dalton Nash drove in two runs and Jordan Campbell one. Anderson scored a pair of runs with Zack Decker, Campbell, Nash, Flick also scoring.

Brandon Jackson tripled for Logan Tele/Bouldin Roofing. The other two hits were by Travis McDaniel and Jordan Hendrix. Jackson and Josh McKinney eanh drove in two runs with D.J. Price and Zack Brinkley each drove in a run. Jack Wright and Brandon McKinney each scored twice. Also scoring were Kenton Howard, Conner McColpin, McKinney and Hendrix.

Desmon Quarles had three hits for the winners, including two doubles while Michael Riley doubled among his three hits. Will Bingham and Dalton Clark each had two hits, Dillon Brown doubled, and Jordan Hendrix singled. Quarles and Riley drove in three runs each to match their hits, and they each scored four runs. Clark also drove in three runs while Noah Bicksler two. Brown and Hendrix each had an RBI. Bingham, Brown and Clark each scored twice. Matt Guinn also scored.

Winning pitcher Hendrix pitched four innings, giving up three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out nine.

Hunter Anderson doubled for Logan County Animal Clinic/Subway while Zack Decker, Luke Woodall and Zach Brinkley each singled. Brinkley and Anderson each drove in a run and scored themselves. Decker had an RBI and Woodall scored.

Pratt's/Printer's Plus scored eight runs and beat a good team on just four hits, all singles—two by Dalton Clark and one each by Noah Bicksler and Jordan Hendrix. Conner McColpin and Quarles each drove in a run with Will Bingham, Hunter Crafton, Quarles and Hendrix adding an RBI each.

Clark scored three runs and Jacob Proctor and Quarles two each. Hendrix also scored. Proctor was the winning pitcher, going six innings and giving up just one hit and one run along with four walks. He struck out 13 among the 18 outs.

Garrett Strickler got the only hit and scored the lone run for Price Funeral Home/H&H Sheet Metal. Jonathan Partlow pitched five innings, giving up eight runs on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts.

Brandon Jackson sped his way to a rare two triples for Logan Tele/Bouldin Roofing while Connor McColpin doubled and singled and Kenton Howard had two hits. Josh McKinney added a single. Jackson drove in three runs and Ben Wright two. Travis McDaniel, D.J. Price, Jack Wright, Howard and McColpin each had an RBI.

Jackson's big day included scoring the winning run on a fielder's choice by McKinney. That was one of his three runs scored. Jack Wright scored twice while Evan Humphries, Ben Wright, McKinney, McColpin, McDaniel and Price added one each.

Winning pitcher Howard went seven innings, giving up 10 runs on seven hits and eight walks with 8 stikeouts.

Logan Animal Clinic/Subway got triples from Hunter Crafton, Dalton Clark and Jacob Proctor. Zack Brinkley, Hunter Anderson and Zack Decker each drove in two runs and Noah Bicksler one. Clark scored three runs, Hunter Crafton and Proctor two each, and Zack Brinkley, Jacob Decker and Bicksler one each. Anderson pitched seven innings in the narrow loss.

Hunter Crafton tripled and singled in the win. Luke Woodall tripled while Hunter Crafton singled and tripled. Zack Brinkley, Jacob Decker, Noah Bicksler and Jacob Proctor each singled. Crafton had three RBIs and scored twice while Luke Woodall scored three times while drive in two. Brinkley added an RBI. Decker, Bicksler and Proctor each scored.

Winning pitcher Crafton pitched six innings, giving up a single run on two each of hits and walks with 12 strikeouts.

Price Funeral Home/H& H Sheet Metal got a triple from Jerrad England and a single by Ashton Ross. Matt Guinn scored the lone run, and pitched five innings, giving up eight runs on seven hits and 2 walks with four strikeouts.

Two guys named Hunter connected for extra bases with Hunter Crafton tripling and Hunter Anderson doubling. Also getting hits were Jerrod England, Dalton Clark, Dillon Brown and Will Bingham.

Clark drove in five runs with England, Crafton and Jordan Hendrix each getting two RBIs. Trent Deberry also drove in a run. Noah Bicksler, Anderson and Brown scored three runs, Deberry and Bingham two each, and Clark, Hendrix and England one each. Hendrix pitched three innings, giving up a run on four hits, four strikeouts and no walks. Bingham pitched an inning.

Josh McKinney had two hits and Brandon Jackson doubled for Logan Telephone/Bouldin Roofing. Zack Brinkley, Evan Humphries and Kenton Howard also got hits. Ben Wright and Ashton Ross each had a pair of RBIs with Howard, McKinney and Jackson adding one each. Jackson scored two runs with Humphries, McKinney, Howard, Brinkley and Ben Wright adding one each. Jackson and Howard pitched.

Jacob Proctor tripled among his two hits. Brandon Jackson and Josh McKinney joined him with two hits each. Proctor drove in three runs with Ben Wright and Evan Humphries each adding two RBIs. Kenton Howard and D.J. Price each had an RBI. Jackson scored four runs while Jack

Wright and McKinney scored twice each. Also scoring were Ben Wright, Humphries, Price and Ethan Crow.

Winning pitcher Ben Wright went six innings, giving up two runs on four hits, five strikeouts and two walks.

Price Funeral Home/H&H Sheet Metal hits were a triple by Dillon Brown, a double by Jerrod England and singles by Dalton Nash and Matt Guinn. England had an RBI. Noah Bicksler and Brown each scored. Starter Aston Ross went six innings. Ryan Hudson and England scored the runs.
