Three Russellville High School female athletes are preparing to sign papers detailing their college futures.

On Thursday, softball players Reese Croslin and Madison “Matt Matt” Penrod will hold formal signings at RHS, beginning at 1 p.m. Croslin will play for Andrew College and Penrod for Kentucky Christian University.

At 1:40, Meredith Chapman, an RHS cheerleader, will formally announce her intentions to continue to be a Panther Cheerleader at Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Penrod, who joined fellow senior Rayleigh Roberts on the All A Classic state all-tournament team recently, is batting .433 with 4 homers, 13, doubles and 2 triples while walking 17 times., driving in 32 runs and scoring 26 instead of giving way to a courtesy runner.  She anchors the defense as the catcher. Adding to her resume, she was chosen RHS Prom Queen Saturday.
