Logan archers place 1st and 2nd in their own tournament

Coach Tina Lynch’s Logan County Archery teams not only put a highly successful multi-school tournament last weekend, but they finished first and second in the two types of shooting. They won the 3D Tournament with crosstown Russellville second, but the Cougars also finished second in the Bullseye event.

Lady Cougar senior Taylor Haley was the top high school female archer in both types of shooting. She’s one of the highest ranked archers in the state.

Also getting a first place for Logan were Michael Drake as Top High School Male. Emma Allen as Top Middle School Female, Asher Liles as Top Middle School Male, Jackson Kemplin as Top Middle School Male, and Mikaela Pitts in 4th Grade Female.

Second places went to Rhonda Reeves, Jaden Hayes, Clacy White, Kaitlin Dowell, Kemplin and Allen (in the other division).

Getting thirds were Hallie Roberts, Makayla Head, Jessie Bogle, Cole Meacham, Mark Lynch and C.J. Raymer.
