Larry E. Noe finds his name to be appropriate for his stance on big government.
In his campaign for the 16th District seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, Noe emphasizes that stance by “saying NO to big
government, socialized health care, raising taxes, eroding family values, and to tax, borrow and spend.”
He firmly believes “smaller and less intrusive government is good for free market capitalism, socialized health care will cut patient services,
lowering and cutting taxes creates jobs, and strong family values legislation creates strong communities,.”
Larry Noe knows a lot about Logan County and its people. He is one of five children of Emma Noe Holliday and the late Henry ‘Shug’ Noe. His
siblings are former Russellville football star and college Academic All-American Henry Noe, businesswoman Joyce Wright, farmer/engineer Steve Noe, and
former banker Elaine Chapman, wife of long-time Logan County Clerk Kenny Chapman.
Larry and his wife, the former Jane Sanders, have two married daughters, Natasha Noe Hughes and Michele Noe Brown. Larry grew up on a South Logan
farm and is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. The Noes lives just outside the Russellville city limits on the Franklin Road.
He is especially opposed to high taxes. He says the strong economy that Logan and Todd counties once knew has been eroded by taxation, causing
people to move to other locations.
The Republican nominee for the Kentucky General Assembly believes the solution to this problem is “small government, cutting taxes, free market
capitalism, strong family values, truth, healthy education, good transportation infrastructure, truth, agriculture marketability, and utilizing retiree
and senior expertise.”
