The Olmstead 8th Grade Class of 2017 held its graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 18. Parents, grandparents, family, friends, staff and community members filled the gym to celebrate. A Year in Review with video of memories from the year was played while everyone gathered to their seats.
After the graduates marched in, Beta Chaplain Harley Robertson led an opening prayer, and Principal Bonnie Watson welcomed all guests. Two eight grade students, Mallory Shoemake and Harley Robertson, entertained with their beautiful voices, singing Hallelujah. Another video of Then and Now was played showcasing student’s baby and eighth grade pictures.
