Auburn Elementary School celebrated its 35th eighth grade graduation on Friday, May 19, at 6 p.m.. On May 17, both 8th grade students and LCHS seniors from Auburn walked the halls in their caps and gowns, to the cheers of all students K-7th. LCHS seniors then presented the school with a framed Certificate of Appreciation, signed by each Auburn student in the graduating class.
LCHS seniors also received letters they had written to themselves in 6th grade in 2011, which had been held by assistant principal, Mrs. Sarah Hatton, until their graduation.
