The ramps at the Interstate 65 and Natcher Parkway interchange in Bowling Green will close for a safety improvement project. The ramps will close individually overnight for one night each. Only one entrance or exit will close per night to keep traffic flowing as well as possible.

A detour with signs will be in place and will add minutes to travel time if the ramp needed is closed. The schedule for the closures is listed below and could change due to weather.

The closure is needed as crews from Truesdell Corporation will add high friction surface treatment to the pavement of the ramps. This will greatly improve safety as the treatment will add stability for vehicles navigating the curves of the ramps. Even with the added treatment,  it will still be very important for motorists to travel the advisory speed marked for each ramp.
