Attention all small town retailers and restaurants!  The Kentucky Small Business Development Center, in conjunction with the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, is offering the Small Town Merchant Program workshop on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 8-10 a.m., at the Chamber office on the Park Square in Russellville.

National Retail Specialist Marc Willson will be conducting the workshop that will include free training on how to stay relevant and improve your retail or restaurant business.  Marc has over 35 years of retail experience, has helped more than 1000 retailers, restaurants and tourism-related small businesses in more than 300 towns.  He counsels small retailers in the areas of finance and cash flow, marketing and customer service, customer loyalty, merchandising, window dressing, buying, and social media. Marc will also provide a limited number of businesses with a free 90-minute business audit at their location.

Chamber Executive Director Lisa Browning says, “Don’t let this great opportunity pass you by!  It’s free – all you need to do is register! For registration information, contact the Chamber at 726-2206 or visit us on Facebook.”
