The 2026 August 8th Emancipation Parade Grand Marshal is Tracey Jefferson Gilbert. Tracey is a native of Louisville. She attended Western Kentucky University where she received a degree in Banking/Finance. After graduation she chose to reside in Logan County with her family, The Duffeys.
Shortly, after her move, she was hired as a teller at the Citizens National Bank, which later became First Southern National Bank. She has been employed at the bank for 43 years, where she currently serves as the Branch Manager.
Tracey is married to Felix Gilbert. They have two children, Jermey and Tara. She is the proud grandma of her grandson Luxe. In her downtime Tracey enjoys gardening and spending quality time with her family.
Tracey was selected to be the Grand Marshal because of her commitment and dedication to this community.
She has been or is currently involved with the following organizations; The Russellville Electric Plant Board, The DeGraffenreid Council, The KY Tech Southern Region, The Logan County Human Rights Commission, all while simultaneously serving as the assistant Church Clerk/Treasurer at the First Baptist Church, 5th and Spring.
Tracey educates the youth about finances. She empowers others by offering her time, resources, and expertise whenever she’s needed. Her integrity, honesty and humility are unmatched.

The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on E 5th Street and ends at the Hampton Park.
