When the Queen’s Float goes down Main Street, Carrico Park Square, and West Fourth Street in Russellville Saturday morning, a new queen will be featured. Here’s the story of her crowning:

The 66th annual Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival Queen’s Pageant took place on Sept. 27, 2025, at the Logan County Performing Arts Center. Thirteen young women from Logan County took to the stage in a graceful display of poise, beauty, and talent, competing for the coveted title of Festival Queen. The evening was filled with excitement and celebration, and by the end of the night, one young lady’s dream came true.

Sophia Annabelle Rose Corbin, a senior at Logan County High School, was crowned the 2025 Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival Queen. Sophia is the daughter of Jenny and Trey Corbin. Along with the prestigious title, she will receive a $1,000 scholarship to the college of her choice, giving her a head start on her educational goals.

Ava Joe Brewer was crowned Miss Congeniality. This special award is voted on by the contestants themselves and represents the heart of the pageant. Miss Congeniality is someone who is kind, uplifting, and encouraging to everyone around her. She shows true friendship, positivity, and grace—on and off the stage.

The pageant also saw Caris Mckenzy Taylor being named First Runner-Up, Kailynn Alexis Adler as Second Runner-Up, and Allie Love Neal rounding out the court as Third Runner-Up. The top eight finalists included Caroline LoRee Boortz, Audrie NaRae Crenshaw, and Alexis Malyn Mowles, all of whom represented Logan County with grace and elegance.

In addition to the crowning of a new queen, the pageant paid tribute to the rich history of the event by honoring past winners. Eleven former queens were in attendance and they included Heer Patel (2024), Ann Elyse Boortz (2023), Ragan Christian(2021), Rachel Dezarn (2019), Victoria Cates Kash (2012), Molly Clark Steenbergen (2010), Polly Cowan Steenbergen (2009), Lindsay McGhee Costello (1998), Laura Bailey Gregory (1997) Emily Trimble Christian (1995), and Darla Sherrod Barrow (1989). Their presence highlighted the deep-rooted tradition of the pageant and the lasting impact it has had on the Logan County community.

The evening was masterfully emceed by Lucas Celsor, who kept the audience entertained and engaged throughout the event. The beautiful stage décor, provided by Oak N Ivy Florist, added to the elegance of the occasion, while a dedicated team of volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the event’s success. The beautiful photos of the night were captured by Tiffani Morgan Photography. She did a fantastic job of capturing the beauty, confidence, and personality of each contestant.

As the new queen, Sophia Annabelle Rose Corbin, along with her court, will be featured in the Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival Parade on Oct. 11, continuing the pageant's rich tradition of community involvement and celebration.

Congratulations to Sophia Annabella Rose Corbin, her court, and all the participants of the 2025 Queen’s Pageant. The festival is sure to be a memorable event with such a talented and inspiring group of young women leading the way!
