Logan Tourism Visitor Center opens on Main Street

The Logan County Tourist & Convention Commission opened a new Logan County Tourism Visitor Center at 215 N. Main St., Russellville this week with new office hours from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Tourism office has been in the Historic Old Courthouse, but county government needed the space, necessitating a move.

One advantage to this location is that forms and messages can be left in the appropriate container when the office is closed. In the past, when the courthouse was locked, access was not possible.

Member of the Tourism Commission are Chairman Peter Patel, Vice Chair Lisa Davis, Treasurer Linda Martin, Shawn McCormick, Marie Gamble, Angel Johnson, and Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Polly Steenbergen.
