Student Writing - The PawPrint Website and Newspaper

RHS is home to some immensely talented young people and one place you may see this talent on display is the school’s Student Newspaper, The PawPrint. This publication, which is headed by National Board Certified English teacher Jennifer Howard, combines the art of print journalism with the ever growing demand for online presence in reporting. Students learn how to interview, edit, and craft some of the best news articles and opinion pieces that may be found in Kentucky. Articles focus on topics of interest to the students of RHS and RMS and are designed to touch on the major aspects of teenage life at RHS and in general. Take a moment and see the work of many of the students who have helped to make RHS one of KY’s top 50 High Schools.

No Child Should Be Cold!

With the temperatures dropping it’s the season for warm clothing. No child should be without warm clothes for the winter and the RHS and RMS Family Resource Center is here to make sure that doesn’t happen. If you have a child or know of a child in need of warm clothing such as long pants, long sleeve shirts, jackets, or footwear, please do not hesitate to contact RJSHS FRYSC Coordinator Debbie Browder by email at

Debbie.Browder@russellville.kyschools.us or you may call her at (270) 726-4799
