We hope that everyone has had a great week. The school-wide and class-specific expectations and procedures are in place, and the students are doing a great job as we approach the end of the first month of school.
Early release Friday
Students were dismissed at 1 today. The other early release Fridays are Nov. 17, Jan. 26, Feb. 16, March 16 and April 27.
Midpoint of quarter
Today is the official midpoint of the quarter. Progress reports will go home with students Thursday afternoon. You are encouraged to access your child’s grades, attendance, and behavior via the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus at any time. White Out
Friday night is the first home football game. Friday’s theme will be a “White Out” where all fans are asked to wear white. This game will be in honor of Trevor Hesson. Cougar Football Team Trevor shirts are on sale for $10.
Open House
We are going to have an “Open House” Tuesday, Sept. 5 from 3:30 – 6 p.m. here at the high school. This evening will provide a great opportunity for you to meet your child’s teachers and to discuss the progress being made. In addition to the KHEAA representative being here to discuss ways to financially prepare for college, we will have information for parents about how to help prepare their children for the post-secondary world.
ACT Workshop
A free ACT Prep Workshop is available for juniors and seniors only this Saturday at 2 p.m. at the main library in Bowling Green. To register, go to warrenpl.beanstock.org.
