LCHS DECA students earn trips to state

Several Logan County High School students attended the DECA Region 2 Conference Feb. 12 at WKU. Fifteen members of sponsor Amy Wisdom’s team performed well in various events.

The following students placed in the top six of their categories at region and now will advance to state March 8-10 in Louisville:

Isaiah Price - 1st - Business Finance
Ali Davis - 1st - Principles of Finance
Maddie Harris - 1st - Marketing Management 
Nikki Crafton - 1st - Principles of Marketing 
Alexis Chick - 2nd - Principles of Marketing
Dakota O'Dell - 3rd - Business Services Marketing
Kelsey Collins - 3rd - Apparel and Accessories Marketing 
Taylor Health - 3rd - Principles of Finance 
Leah Cross - 4th - Principles of Marketing 
Therese McGinnis - 5th -Human Resources Management 
Jessica Holloway - 5th - Business Services Marketing
Christa Hankins - 5th - Marketing Management 
Monica Hines - 5th - Principles of Finance

Brianna Winn –  6th- Business Services Marketing

Brittany Smith – 6th – Principles of Marketing

The LCHS DECA students also earned the award for the largest growth in membership for the region.
