Saturday will be the biggest day of the Adairville Strawberry Festival, but some special events are scheduled today and Friday
Town Square and a block beyond will be filled with vendors, kids and entertainers Thursday evening.
Booths will open at 3 p.m., with carnival rides starting at 4 p.m. The "Adairville Has Talent" show is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Adairville Square, with local performers being afforded a chance to compete on stage.
Musical entertainment by Clay Bilyeu will follow from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday’s activities include a Kiddie Parade at 3 p.m. for ages 12 and under. Participants are encouraged to wear red or strawberry-themed attire and may travel on decorated bikes, scooters, or wagons. Free popsicles will be handed out.
The band Four on the Floor will perform from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Most events are free except for the carnival rides the next three days.
