Danny Ray Smith, 51, of Adairville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 in Adairville. He was a Logan County native, born Sept. 12, 1967 to the late Ray Douglas Smith and Joann Moon Smith. He was a farm worker for Robey Farms and member of Immanuel Apostolic Church in Adairville. He was an avid coon hunter and outdoorsman.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura England Smith.
He is survived by his father- and mother-in-law, Junior and Dottie England of Adairville; his son, Tyler Smith of Adairville; his daughters, Brittany Smith, Candace Smith and Carleigh Smith, all of Adairville; his brother, Keith Smith of Springfield; his sisters, Dorothy Smith and husband Clay of Franklin; Debbie Hallman and husband Eugene of Adairville, Amanda Smith of Bowling Green, Christy Kodiak and husband Tony of Russellville, Kim Heatherly and husband Donnie of Ridgetop, and Mia Briley and husband Charlie of Ridgetop; and his grandchildren, Payslee Smith and Beckett Smith of Adairville.
Funeral services for Danny Ray Smith will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Banks officiating with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
Food may be taken to the Adairville Fish and Game Club after 10 a.m on Wednesday.
