Jesse Eugene Murphy, 74, of Indianapolis, formerly of Logan County, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at his home. He was a retired truck driver with Road Way Trucking and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy Boisseau Murphy; his daughters, Lorrie Lang and husband Gary and Shelly Derry and husband David, all of Avon, Ind.; his son, Michael Murphy and wife Pam of Indianapolis; his brother, Otis Murphy and wife Mary of Olmstead; his sister, Barbara Ann Greenfield and husband Danny of Elkton; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Jesse Eugene Murphy will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. James Belcher and Bro. Timmy Gober officiating with burial to follow in Dripping Spring Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 10 a.m. and lasting until the service time.
