Leola Mae Wilcutt, 98, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native, born on May 20, 1920 to the late Edgar and Bertha Gilliam Stuart. She was a grocer for Spa K Market and a member of Post Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wilcutt, and a sister, Elaine Gower
She is survived by her son, Larry Wilcutt and wife Judy of Russellville; her daughter, Marilyn Wilson of Olmstead; her brothers, Howard Stuart and Merrill Stuart, both of Bowling Green; her sister, Margaret Dill of Louisville and Pauline Browning of Hartford; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Funeral services for Leola Mae Wilcutt will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Nick Stamps officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial Donations may be made to Post Oak Baptist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
