Edgar Franklin (Old Dude) Weaver Jr., 70, of Dunmor, died on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Friday, July 30, 1948 in Alexandria, Va. , the son of the late Edgar Weaver and the late Roberta Mullins Weaver. He was the husband of June Graham Wecaver of Dunmor.
He was a retired tile layer with McClarey Tile and a member of Plainview General Baptist Church.
Also surviving are his son, Frankie Weaver of Spotsylvania, Va.; his daughter, Serena Heatherly of Belton; his sister, Elaine Owens of Warrenton, Va.; his six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Samantha Ayres, and his brother, Earl Weaver.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Plainview General Baptist Church located at 2639 Plainview Rd. Auburn, with the Bro. Arno Kranz and Bro. Kris Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Plainview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Price Funeral Home, Inc. 252 E. Green Street, Lewisburg, and after 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, at Plainview General Baptist Church..
