Gayle Post, 77, of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at her residence.
She was born Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1941 in Cleaton, the daughter of the late Vernon Hammers and the late Thelma McGuyer Hammers. She was the wife of the late Ted Post.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Union General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Calvin Crowley and David Crowley, both of California, and Skylar Post of Lewisburg; her daughters, Debbie Torricellas of Russellville, Christiana Quintana of California, Delina Anderson of Pennsylvania and Diane Post of California; her brother, David Hammers of California; her sisters, Paula Gregory of Drakesboro and Sue Jubenville of Greenville; 46 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church, located at 5529 Deerlick Rd. Lewisburg. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church.
