Ron Jones, 70, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Detroit on Dec. 3, 1947 to the late Albert Aaron Jones and the late Agnes Wilkins Elliott. He was previously employed by Emerson Electric in production. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion and the NRA.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Lou Rosser Jones; his daughters, Amber Foster (William) of Bowling Green and Rhonda Perry of Murfreesboro; his sister, Linda Foster (Jim) of Russellville; three nieces and five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ron Jones will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Duff and Bro. Ron Wells officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11, from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday morning from 8:00 until time for the service.
