Lillian Oslin Stamps, 102, of Nashville, formerly of Russellville, passed away in Nashville on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. She was born in Simpson County on Feb. 17, 1916 to the late Joseph Edward Oslin and the late Nannie Lou Peters Oslin.

Mrs. Stamps was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, a former educator with Davidson County Schools, a member of Belmont Heights Baptist Church, a member of the Oak Valley Garden Club, and a member of  DAR. Mrs. Stamps was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barker Stamps.

She is survived by her son, Robert B. Stamps Jr. of Nashville; and her nephews, Hiram Edward Oslin of Mt. Juliet and Larry Oslin of Louisville.

Graveside services for Lillian Oslin Stamps will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 9, at Berea Church Cemetery in Russellville. Memorial donations may be made to Kindred Hospice, 1400 Donelson Pike Suite B5, Nashville, Tenn. 37217. Envelopes will be available at the service.
