Charles Michael ‘Chuckie’ Statton, 64, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born May 18, 1953 to the late Owen Hodgen Statton and Marguerite Montgomery Statton. He was a farmer and member of Stevenson’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Johnson Statton, and son, Charles Michael Statton Jr.
He is survived by hiws son, Michael Statton of Russellville; his daughters, Michelle Gossett and husband Robbie of Russellville, Jennifer Clayton and husband Anthony of Olmstead and Elizabeth Statton of Russellville; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services for Charles Michael ‘Chuckie’ Statton will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at Stevenson’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Donnie Blick and Pastor Hap Hewgley officiating with burial to follow in Stevenson’s Chapel UMC Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Tuesday will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Stevenson’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
